Aussie Angel Spreads Her Wings: From Lingerie to Chanel Faux Fur

Australian beauty, Abbey Lee Kershaw has become the newest face of Chanel
Australian supermodel, Abbey Lee Kershaw, who joined the list of Victoria's Secret Angels in 2008, has been cast in Chanel's latest advertising campaign. Following in the footsteps of two other Australians, actress Nicole Kidman and model Alyssa Sutherland, Kershaw has been named the face of Chanel’s 2010 Autumn/Winter 2010/11 advertising campaign.
According to reports, Karl Lagerfeld, who handpicked Kershaw himself finds the model to be a very modern and contemporary beauty. Kershaw stars in the advertisement with models Freja Beha Erichsen and Brad Kroenig.The duo posed on the fire escape of one of the city's brownstone buildings sporting highlights from next season's faux-fur-lined, arctic themed collection.
Prior to the shoot, Kershaw had closed Chanel’s Spring 2010 couture show on January 26 and opened its Ready-to-Wear Autumn/Winter 2010/11 on March 9.
