Karl Lagerfeld brought the town of St Tropez to a standstill for the presentation of his Chanel Cruise collection for 2010/11.

Having spent more than four decades — on and off — soaking up the jet-set Riviera culture, Lagerfeld unveiled a youthful and fetching collection. The models disembarked from a boat and strolled barefoot in tunics, jumpsuits and loose trousers with a yacht-stuffed harbor as the backdrop, evoking the hedonistic, holiday spirit of this legendary town.

Natasha Poly opened barefoot in a pastel print dress, and Karolina Kurkova and Abbey Lee Kershaw danced down the runway in knits. Toni Garrn and Jacquetta Wheeler made runway returns, and Crystal Renn, riding the current "plus size model" wave, made a cameo

Psychedelic prints, chiffon dresses and free-flowing skirts reflected a '70s throwback party atmosphere - pieces to be worn from day to night.
