Instead of a show, Mr. Tisci presented 10 looks on forms for Givenchy's Fall Couture Collection.
Everything was white, flesh-colored, or gold - his work, complicated and beautifully rendered. Sheer dresses embroidered with the most beautiful lace, overlaying a sheer body suit were simply stunning - according to WWD, one dress took 1,600 hours to complete. Riccardo Tisci’s decorative inventions were on bold display in Paris this week and possessed sparkle, virtually every look could make a beeline for the red carpet, where it would shine with confident glamour.
