Lady Gaga put her money to good use on a recent lingerie spending spree. This comes just two months after her controversial 'meat' ensemble which left PETA supporters outraged.

Since we first watched Lady Gaga's romp in her 'Bad Romance' video, she's paraded some pretty outlandish outfits including her recent Vogue Japan spread in which she models a bra and knickers fashioned from 'raw meat'. It seems now, Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, has apparently developed a fetish for silk lingerie to help with her creativity. The 24-year-old singer was said to have spent an estimated £7000 getting new underwear recently. According to sources "She’s so in love with how she  feels  with those expensive clothes, that she has demanded that every piece of underwear in her closet to  be  pure silk. Polyester, cotton and lycra are prohibited. She really believes this will help her  with her creativity, because if she feels  comfortable and the  skin can breathe properly, she  will be able to concentrate on her music." While we are all for beautiful and comfortable lingerie, we're not so sure of Ms Gaga's choice of style....meat should be reserved for the dinner table sweetheart.
