Sass & Bide continue to impress critics, this time at London Fashion Week....
Middle Eastern inspired was the theme for Sass & Bide’s new spring/summer 2010 collection at London Fashion Week. The Australian duo perpetuated trends of harem pants and beaded maxi dresses. Power shoulders also featured heavily in the collection, but not in the conventional 80’s-inspired silhouette. Shoulders were emphasised with embellished detail and tailored tops, balanced off with loose-fitting harem pants and flowing skirts. The label did not go in an entirely new direction, playing it safe with a colour palette of black & white and metallics. Even basics were prominent at London Fashion Week with Sass & Bide runway: the harem pant was revitalised with ethnic prints and opulent beading. Another exciting aspect is that the brand seem to be branching out into accessories for spring/summer 2010, with the models sporting ethnic-inspired bags and shoes in conjunction with the rest of the range.
