Madonna's Fashion Line to Include Swimwear

In March it was confirmed that Madonna was launching her own clothing line at over 200 Macy's stores - now she is set to expand into swimwear and intimates.

Madonna and Lourdes' Fashion Line to Include SwimwearThe 52-year-old singer recently launched her Material Girl line with daughter Lourdes, 13, and the pair are keen to add more categories to their collection, including swimwear and intimates.

"We're focused on rolling Material Girl out into additional categories, including swim and intimates and expanding the dress assortments. We launched footwear with ballet flats this season, but we're going to expand into a full footwear collection going forward. It's all under discussion," a spokesperson for the line said. 

Madonna has previously said she loved working with Lourdes, but admitted they didn't always agree on everything. 

"I think we complement each other but we do disagree on a few things. I wouldn't have worn this flannel shirt thing (pictured right) but she looks good in it so what are you going to do. I'm a very proud mother," she said. 

Let's hope her swimwear and lingerie doesn't take on design inspiration from her Jean-Paul Gaultier 'getup' - no Mads the cone look is not making a comeback!
