Mercedes Benz Swim Fashion Week Wrap Up

The beauty and business of swimwear marched into Miami Beach last week, with one hyped message delivered from the runways: Go Global!
Designers offered a full spectrum of trends during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2011, held at The Raleigh Hotel from July 15 to 19. Ethnic influences rang particularly strong, expressed in tribal prints and beading on bikinis or via crocheted monokinis and flowing caftans. Sweeter notes were hit with retro patterns and high-waisted two-pieces, and there was the typical dose of the little black swimsuit.
