In the midst of all the "Sex and the City 2" hype, the vivacious stylist hosted a rooftop bash in New York City in celebration of her new beachwear collection.

Sex and the City 2 stylist Patricia Field shamelessly capitalized on the film's premiere this week by launching her new line of beachwear, according to New York Fashion.

She showed bathing suits, beach towels, cover-ups and sunglasses filled with zebra and leopard print bikinis and psychedelic one pieces. The theme was Arabian-inspired, perhaps drawing from the SATC 2 Abu Dhabi scenes which have created much controversy.

Her ability to cherry-pick just the right mix of heart-fluttering designer brand fashions for characters such as Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte, has won Patricia Field acclaim and awards but mostly the active admiration of millions of women. Not too sure if her own collection will be quite as well received?
