Stripes and bright colours and a finale of knitted knickers ensured the mood at Sonia Rykiel's RTW Spring 2011 show was light and entertaining.

Sonia Rykiel's RTW Spring Summer 2011 collection was filled with 1970's inspired designs and vivid colors. Loose fitting trousers and menswear inspired designs along with hats and tie belts. The color palette featured soft mustard, vivid orange and shades of brown, touching on colourblocking influences. The show opened with a loose color-blocked dress, followed by a quirky mix of lingerie, spice and ice cream tones that gave this charming collection its distinction. Everything had an easy, carefree spirit, reinforced by signature accessories including platforms, tasseled bags and sun hats.

For the finale, the girls sashayed out to the tune of "Be My Baby." Bare-legged and wearing only stripey sweaters, matching knickers, and oversize retro shades, ensured guests were kept entertained.
