Ah, the celebrity how we love you! Let us count the ways.....
As huge fashion fans, we spend hours each week trawling through hundreds of images of our favourite fashionable femmes - and while each month many directional and daring outfits grab our attention, only the most inspired make the cut. One thing that's apparent is that it's the same set that continue to pull out consistently envious looks from the style bag. It's these certain ladies that have emerged as modern day Style Icons, and therefore deserve a little praise.
Kate Moss
London style, London girls....Kate epitomises and embodies true British style. The former face of lingerie house Agent Provocateur, Moss capturing a no-holds barred rock n roll sex appeal through her love affair for smouldering leather and oversized basics. She cleverley mixes tailored pices with staple go-skinny jeanes and provocatively chic heels. Even at the age of 36 when most of her model peers have long been forgotten, international fashion houses continue to sign her as the face of their collections.
Miranda Kerr
Home grown...doesn't this girl do us proud! Known best for her flawless figure that has graced the Victoria's Secret Shows and campaigns since 2007, Kerr is also the face of David Jones and countless International Fashion campaigns. She has her own unique sense of style and manages to look effortlessly flawless and fresh. Femininity as well as girlish innocence are what her formal appearances suggest. For the 'boring' weekdays she managed to fuel the popularity of jeans as well as other universal wardrobe staples that would characterize a Boho and low maintenance look.
Victoria Beckham
VB has received her fair share of criticism over the years...nonetheless, Victoria Beckham somehow finds the time to masterfully create some of fashion's most impeccably thought-out ensembles. Having the benefit of counting Roberto Cavalli and Marc Jacobs amongst her close friends, of course can't harm or hinder. Clean lines, flawless tailoring, flattering cuts and feminine styling- her look is strong, striking and recognisable from miles away. Not to mention she was hand picked by Jean Paul Gaultier to be the very first to wear and be photographed in his new lingerie line that was launched this year in collaboration with La Perla.
Abbey Lee Kershaw
A baby at just 23 years, Melbourne model Kershaw has already followed in the footsteps of two other Australians, actress Nicole Kidman and model Alyssa Sutherland, to be named the face of Chanel’s 2010 Autumn/Winter 2010/11 advertising campaign. Joining the elite word of beautiful women, Kershaw was signed up as a Victoria's Secret Angel in 2008. Finding her own sense of style, Abbey loves to mix layers with oversized pieces - but perhaps what captures us is authentic warmth which she oozes when she smiles.
