BIG PANTS...hmmm..not sure about this one: New research by luxury French lingerie brand Simone Perele shows that 84 per cent of men do not like G-strings and, perhaps surprisingly, 67 per cent would opt for their partner to wear big pants. Those polled also voted Kylie, Cheryl Cole and Beyonce as having the best celebrity behinds! If big pants are not your thing, opt for a shorty or french knicker.

Always ACCESSORIZE with GARTERS, SUSPENDERS etc: When it comes to impressing your man, you can't be too obvious. The more obvious the underwear is, the more appealing men find it. Red, black, satin, thongs and stockings all sell well in the run up to Valentine's Day.

And one more thing: lingerie should be worn beautifully and taken off even more seductively!
