Following on the success of his Spring 2010 line of wedding dresses, Williamson has announced he will launch Matthew Williamson Bridal in 2011.

Matthew Williamson has delighted brides-to-be everywhere by announcing the launch of his first bridal collection, but what can we expect from the line? Each dress within the collection has its own intricate detailing, which makes it unique and masterfully designed. Creating a bridalwear collection was a natural progression from my evening wear collections which are well known for their softly draped and diaphanous silk gowns," the designer said. "We found there was a huge demand for it and so we have developed a comprehensive range, including both short dresses, long gowns, corseted styles and also shapes more suited to laid-back glamorous beach weddings."

Sure to tempt Williamson's friend, and princess of boho, Sienna Miller if she decides to tie the knot with boyfriend Jude Law in her usual effortless glamour, but it's not just dresses Williamson is creating.

"There will also be a beautiful accessories range to complement the dresses," Williamson told vogue, "including headbands, beaded stoles, clutch bags and fur shrugs for the winter bride. The colour palette is traditionally bridal in soft antique ivories." Williamson designed a bridal capsule exclusively for net-a-porter earlier this year.
